How long before Spain come good and play the style of football that we see every weekend from Barca and Real? Well the wait may be over as this team is packed with talent in every department. Real's outstanding keeper Iker Casillas may have little to do in the group stages as his outfield players are past masters at keeping the ball away from the opposition.
The names just trip off the tongue -Torres, Villa, Fabregas, Puyol, Xavi and Ramos; the only name missing is that of Raul, who has been left out by coach Aragones -in spite of being the top scorer in La Liga this season!
If Fabregas and Torres click then they should win this at a canter, if not then they dare not return to Spain... They look like finalists at least to me.

With several familiar faces such as Lunjberg, Allback, Mellberg and Sebastian Larsson they will cause problems for whoever they play -which may be Italy in the first knockout stage. No doubt they will be relying on Inter's Ibrahimovic for the bulk of their goals after his great season in Italy. How fitting it would be if he were to knockout the Azuri in the quarter-finals?
