Spread Watch -Series Totals & Specials Markets
There are so many great opportunities to spread bet during this Ashes series 2010/11 -with over one hundred different markets from which to choose! We have scoured the totals & specials market spreads on your behalf and here are the ones that we think are good value and worth a second look:
1. Series Run Outs -This is the standout spread of all the totals markets offered by Spreadex. We will eat our spread betting hats if this spread doesn't finish with some sort of profit! The quote is 5-5.5 and after reviewing the last thirty test matches worldwide -it is most unusual to see a match without any run outs. It is more common to see a match with multiple run outs -there were four alone in the last Ashes test of the 2009 series. This spread could easily finish at 10.
2. Low Team Score (all out) -Another market with great possibilities as this could finish well over two hundred. This is probably a spread that you could trade out of after the first couple of tests with a decent profit. If you're a buyer then get on with Extrabet, who are quoting 137-147.
We will be keeping a very close watch on the totals and specials markets for this Ashes series at all the major spread betting firms. The totals and new quotes will be updated after each test match, so check back to find out about any significant market moves and where to find the new value spreads.
